Bowling

History

The WSU bowling club team won the national championship in 1985.

In 2005-2006 school year, The Mens team took second in two tournaments in Utah, and fourth in another.  While the Womens team took first in all three

In 2006-2007 the Bowling team traveled to San Jose, and Las Vegas to compete in tournaments.

In 2007-2008 the mens team competed in two tournaments in Las Vegas and Davis California.  They qualified for post season play where they competed in the western sectionals.

In 2008-2009 the mens and womens teams competed in four tournaments in Reno, Las Vegas, and San Jose. The mens team qualified for post season play where they competed in the western region sectionals against some of the best collegiate teams in the nation.

In 2009-2010 the mens and womens teams comepeted in multiple tournaments in places such as Las Vegas, Reno, Davis, and San Jose. The teams were able to compete in more tournaments then they have in recent years. It could be considered a transitional year and were not able to qualify for postseason play.
