Men's Soccer

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What level of play does the Men's Club Soccer team play at?

The team is a part of the NCCSC conference comprised of collegate club soccer teams from around the region provided by the West Coast Soccer Association. We play at the highest level of self funded sports at the university level.

2. Who pays for the team's expenses?

Our club is entirely self funded with little help from the university. We pay for our uniforms, travel, equipment, and marketing. Through various fundraising activities we are able to subsidize some of our expenses. Donations to the team are always welcome!

3. Does the team travel far?

It really varies on the season schedule and what school club teams are included in our league for the season and how far into regionals/nationals you get to. For example, this 2016 Fall season IF all of our regular season games were away then the farthest travel game would be UW or Seattle University. Since they are not this season, the farthest travel is Gonzaga University in Spokane.

4. How many players are on the team?

The number of players varies based on the needs of the team and how we play. There is not a set number we shoot for at tryouts.

5. When are tryouts to join the team?

Tryouts are each fall semester within the first three weeks of school. Time and dates for tryouts will be posted on the Home page of this website before the start of the academic year. Also follow the WSU Mens Club Soccer page on Facebook and our Twitter @wsusoccerclub for the latest information!

6. What if I have more questions?

If you have any questions feel free to send an email to the team president Andrew Anderson at Andrew.J.Anderson@wsu.edu or Marketing Director Angel Molinero at Angel.Molinero@wsu.edu.
